I will post here to update the when and where.

THANKS AGAIN!

 2. SUBJECT

 3. YOUR NAME

First and Last :-)

-------NITTY GRITTY-------

-After I receive the first 20 COMMISSIONS requested via email I will CLOSE the list. I will then pick from those 20 SUBJECTS what I want to draw. Next, I will contact you to let you know your piece was chosen and request a partial payment via Paypal ($250) to hold ($150 on the $150 Blank Cover), and then remainder via Paypal when I send you a scan of the completed sketch.

-Once I stop the list, I will announce it is CLOSED and then I will let the 20 know they are on the list usually within 24 HOURS. If you don’t hear within 24 hours of CLOSED then your request was not one of the first 20. I will continue picking sketches from the 20 until ... I don't know, a month at the most, this is my first time doing it this way :)

-SO, not everyone will get a sketch and there will most likely be some confusion so read everything carefully and if you don’t hear from me with 24 hours of closing the list, you are NOT on the list of 20.

-If you do make the list of 20, you are NOT guaranteed a sketch, just that I’m choosing from those 20.

- It’s only when I email with the 2nd email and tell you your sketch is completed, request FINAL payment, then, you know, … it’s done :-)

-I will do 4 to 8 sketches

QUESTIONS

Only 4 to 8!!!?

I will probably do this for each show I miss over the coming months - so May (Lake Como), June (Heroes), July (San Diego), so there will be more chances.

Why 6PM Pacific?

This is (was) for WonderCon, so I'm keeping to that optimal time Pacific time as the show is (was) in California. It will be optimized for the local time at those other con locations coming up.

Please ask in the thread below so everyone can see - thanks!

GOOD LUCK!

Thanks!

TD

  4. Will you be able to contribute to jam pieces?

  5. On the sketch cover option, the 2 choices are $150 waist up or $400 waist up, the only difference is Rachel colors instead of you on the $400?

    1. It's a more involved drawing AND Rachel's signature

  6. Thanks so much for doing this. A virtual con is a great way to kick off week six of social distancing.

    1. As you long you have all the details figured out and I'm just mailing to the CGC (or whoever).

      Thanks!

  9. Hi Terry!

Thank you for doing this! It's a nice way to brighten up the ongoing quarantine!

I'm a little bit confused though... per your FAQ, you're taking the first 20 people for your commission list and requesting partial payment, but then only doing 4-8 sketches? Are the remaining 12-16 people from that list then automatically part of the Lake Como/Heroes/San Diego comission lists or am I misunderstanding something (most likely)?

    Much appreciated!

    2. Here you go-

After I receive the first 20 COMMISSIONS requested via email I will CLOSE the list. It's exactly how I have handled it in the past, I just raised the partial payment $100 more since it's been done completely online. Thanks!

  10. Hour nine of constantly refreshing e-mail in box. My eyes feel like someone has rubbed sand into them, and I fear that I am developing carpal tunnel finger from incessantly left clicking my mouse. But if that e-mail arrives it will be a delightful mixture of Christmas morning and turning into the paper goods isle at the grocery store and seeing a full shelf of Charmin, two-ply, extra soft.

    1. There was A LOT of overlap of characters plus a few surprises which were a delight to see!

  12. If I had to place a bet, I would go with Black Cat being the most requested with Emma Frost a close second. For me, when it came to choosing, it was Princess Leia hands down as your cover for issue one grabbed me and did not let go, though I was sorely tempted to pick a character from Adventureman as I'm looking forward to that book.
